Just announced – the Isotopes to headline the Stoneyard Brewing Company’s annual beerfest. $20 gets you all you can drink from over 30 regional breweries. The event runs from 5 – 11, get there early to see your friends the Isotopes and a little earlier to see our friends Ricky Richards & the Sound Organization.

See the complete brewery list and RSVP here: https://www.facebook.com/events/147146458993824/. Notice there is not a single mention of the Isotopes. Hm.

Stoneyard Brewing is in Brockport at 1 Main Street, but other than that it’s a great place. Tickets available online: https://www.eventbrite.com

Rochester’s third or possibly fourth best surf band is back on the scene. After a triumphant 2016 debut at the Bug Jar, we set our sights on a venue that has yet to be covered in obnoxious green confetti – The Flour City Station! After a few years of ruining what used to be one of the great music venues in Rochester, some wonderful people came along and once again made it a place where you can see Something Else play Jesse’s Girl 2 or 3 times every month.

One of the best bands around, The Temptators, are also playing. There might even be a third band added at some point. Why not?

Brand New Website

The Isotopes had the same website for three decades and we know it looked a little dated. We received all of your well written and thoughtful hate mail. While we still refuse to update the stage show and make that interesting, we have finally updated our website.

This is the beginning of a brand new year for the Isotopes, a year that we’re calling 2016. We plan to make this a big one, but then, we planned on making 2015 a big year too so don’t get excited. Please do join us for our first local show since last August coming up on Saturday, March 19th at the Bug Jar with Buffalo bad boys the Barksdales!

Our first show of 2016 was better than usual, no one brought rotten fruit. Maybe we should move to Buffalo. Here’s the first song we ever performed live with our new bassist Rock Strongo. Sure, he’s not very good, but notice how the rest of the Isotopes and Isotopes Go Go Dancers more than make up for his mediocre performance. NOTICE IT I said!!

Topes Hiatus Update

Hi fans. I know, you’re pissed. Where are The Isotopes? Why aren’t these charismatic womanizers performing shows lately? Which STD is stopping them this time? The fact is Admiral Awesome is currently recovering from his annual health crisis and will be back to 110% soon. In the meantime, watch videos of our live performances and self-medicate. That’s what we’re doing.
